Full-Time - Seasonal

Main Duties:

• Ensure safety of the staff and guests while on or near lift equipment
• Safely and efficiently operate the Resort’s lift equipment in a manner designated
• Provide direction and positive motivation to all Lift operators
• Ensure the safe and efficient operating of the lifts by completing and adhering to all operational and safety procedures
• Perform routine maintenance
• Participate in the recruitment of potential Lift Operator staff
• Conduct daily inspections of work areas and of all equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a lift operator on a resort comparable lifts
• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid first aid certificate (preferred)
• Excellent people skills; out going, friendly and helpful
• Good physical condition; able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and perform manual labor
• Team oriented
• Ability to remain calm and to react in a quick, thoughtful manner on the event of an emergency
• Skiing or boarding ability
• A mechanical aptitude would be an asset
