Full Time - Seasonal

Duties and Responsibilities

-Rental operations
-Cash and till operations
-Nordic ski patrol
-Visitor relations
-Trail and track information distribution
-Maintenance and general facility upkeep
-Shop work (waxing/fixing skis and equipment)
-Teaching Cross Country ski lessons
Guiding/assistant guiding interpretive snowshoe tours

Qualifications/Experience

-CANSI Level 1 Instructor
-Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
-OFA Level 1 (or equivalent first aid)
-Must have excellent communication skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Maintain a professional appearance at all time

This is a multi-faceted position that will require the applicant to be both physically fit and able to work in adverse weather conditions. Candidates with strong Nordic Skiing ability will be considered first. A CANSI certification is not required however a knowledge and history of Cross Country and Alpine skiing is an asset. Naturalist/Interpretive experience is also an asset with our snowshoe and trail information programs. Customer service skills and an all-around positive and friendly attitude are always appreciated!
