Full Time

Duties/Requirements:

• Prepare, cook and bake bakery goods and desserts, stocks, soups and sauces, etc from scratch
• Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
• Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods
• Work with minimal supervision
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.)
• Prepare and work buffets
• Clean kitchen and work areas as per Food Safe specifications

Qualifications:

• Prefer a minimum of 5-10 years of experience
• Minimum 2nd year culinary education
• Experience with banquets and buffets is a must
• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have Food Safe Level 1 and WHIMIS
• Excellent people skills; out going, friendly and helpful
• Must be a team-player, reliable and courteous
