There are many lakes in and around Manning Park. The main focus of water activities is at the Lightning Lakes Day Use Area. Lightning Lake provides a playground for boating, fishing, swimming and picnicing. It is also the access point to the more popular hiking and walking trails: Lightning Lakes Chain, Mt. Frosty and Skyline Trails.

Lightning Lakes Day Use Area is also home to the Boathouse which offers canoe, kayak and rowboat rentals by the hour or by the day.

5 - person Mackenzie Canoe (20')	$24/hr - $75/day - including taxes
HOURS OF OPERATION
Daily 10:00am to 6:00pm If Boathouse is closed all rentals & Returns are done through Manning Lodge May close due to inclement weather - (opens full-time June 27th)	Rentals costs include applicable taxes. The Boathouse accept VISA, MasterCard and Amex. No debit transactions at this location. Nearest ATM, 4 km away at Manning Park Resort.

Please note that motorized watercrafts of any kind
are not permitted on any water in Manning Park.
