There are many lakes in and around Manning Park. The main focus of water activities is at the Lightning Lakes Day Use Area. Lightning Lake provides a playground for boating, fishing, swimming and picnicing. It is also the access point to the more popular hiking and walking trails: Lightning Lakes Chain, Mt. Frosty and Skyline Trails.

Lightning Lakes Day Use Area is also home to the Boathouse which offers canoe, kayak and rowboat rentals by the hour or by the day.

  • Nearest ATM, 4 km away at Manning Park Resort.

Please note that motorized watercrafts of any kind
are not permitted on any water in Manning Park.

Fishing Licences will not be available this year, you must purchase a licence prior to coming up at Hope or Princeton Sporting Good Stores
