YOUR 'MANNING MINUTE':

  • WINTER 2023/24 SEASON PASSES ON SALE – Now in Tier 2
  • The Blackwall Road to the Cascade Lookout, will be OPEN for the Victoria Day Long Weekend, as of May 17th. Please do not pass the barriers, as we are still working on the road up to the Dry Ridge parking lot.
  • Lightning Lake UPDATE – The ice has melted; The Boathouse will be open for the Victoria Day long weekend; BC Parks contractors are installing a septic system for the new Flush Toilets that are replacing the old pit toilets; BC Parks is installing new picnic tables *Please Note: There may be NO or limited picnic tables available for the Victoria Day long weekend. *Warning: Please keep pets and children away from fencing and work areas.
  • The Boathouse at Lightning Lake – OPEN on the May Long Weekend from 10am till 5pm. May 27th onwards, OPEN Saturday & Sundays 10am till 5pm
  • We want to reassure you that campfires are still allowed for all our Nature Lovers coming out to camp in Manning Park. An open fire prohibition has been scheduled throughout the Coastal Fire Centre’s jurisdiction as of May 18th. The open fire prohibition bans Category 2 & 3 fires, which include open fires that burn, not including campfires.
  • Bear’s Den Pub OPEN – Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm
  • Visitor Centre will OPEN – June 16th to September 4th from 9am till 5pm
  • Hampton Campground OPEN – First Come First Served. Minimum 3-Night Stay.
  • Coldspring Campground OPEN – FCFS until May 18th and 80% reservable from May 19th onwards. For more information, click here
  • Mule Deer Campground OPEN – FCFS until May 18th and 80% reservable from May 19th onwards. For more information, click here.
  • Parks Day – July 15th, 2023. Celebrate our beautiful parks with community partner booths, crafts, face painting and more! For details, click here.
  • Interpretation Programs – Starting from June onwards. Visit our events calendar here.
  • Please Note: Due to construction work, the back entrance to the resort, games room, and basement washrooms will be closed from June 12th to June 14th. During this period, we encourage you to utilize the main entrance for access to the resort facilities. Outdoor washroom and Pinewoods washroom will remain open for all.

  • Free Ride Race – March 19th
  • Dummy Downhill – March 19th from 1pm to 2pm / Test your building and design skills and see if your creation can stand up against the competition.
