E.C. Manning Provincial Park to reopen trails & day use on May 14

With Premier John Horgan’s recent announcement that some BC Parks will reopen starting May 14, this signifies that E.C. Manning Provincial Park will officially reopen for day use as of that date.

As noted by Premier Horgan, the public is directed to continue to social distance from people outside of your family group, and to stay local to your region.

Campgrounds and backcountry camping is expected to reopen as of June 1st. Please note that as per BC Parks, there will be ongoing procedures in effect to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread in the parks.

Manning Park Resort management would like to thank guests for respecting the closure of the park until May 14th, when it will be reopened for trails and day use areas only.

Please note that although the front-country trails and day use will be open as of May 14, there is still a significant amount of snow present. Some trails may require snowshoes. In the event that you encounter snow on the trail, please do not walk off the trail, as this furthers trail braiding and can further degrade the trails in the park.

At this time, we are reviewing the operations of Manning Park Resort to assess what areas of our operations we can reopen. Thank you for your patience!
