Weekly Naturalist Programs

August 7 - August 12

  See Program pdf version here. This week's free naturalist programs include Wildflower Walks in the sub-alpine meadows and amphitheatre programs at Lightning Lake Campground. Guarantee a spot for wildflower walks and day programs at the Visitor Centre or by calling 604-668-5953. Evening programs are first-come, first-serve. Maximum numbers apply. These programs are put on with support from Hope Mountain Centre for Outdoor Learning, Skagit Environmental Endowment Commission, BC Parks and Manning Park Resort.

Things that Go Bump in the Night… Naturalist Program

An event every day that begins at 8:30 pm, repeating indefinitely

Join Prospector Paul for some thrilling campfire tales about creatures that come out after dark. This #ManningParkDarkSky event will feature some interesting facts about the way that the dark sky affects animals in the park! This amphitheatre program will take place at Lightning Lake Campground with two nightly shows at 7:15pm and 8:15pm. Evening programs are first come, first serve. Maximum numbers apply.
