Adventure Safely this Summer at Manning Park!

Since resuming operations in June 2020, we have implemented physical distancing and enhanced sanitizing practices, worked with industry leaders to create best practices, and supported local and provincial government health guidelines. We successfully and safely operated both a full summer and winter season, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back this summer.

With the experience and knowledge we have gained this past year, we continue to make the safety of our guests and staff our highest priority.

While visiting the park, please abide by all provincial health and safety guidelines to ensure another successful summer of outdoor adventure!

General Safety Practices

For all indoor locations, masks are recommended.

Physical distancing is recommended in all areas. Inside buildings, at the lake, on the trails, and everywhere else. Stay safe and stay 2m apart.

All high-touch surfaces are frequently cleaned and disinfected. Hand sanitizing stations are provided at multiple locations around the resort.

If possible, please pay by card, not cash to decrease contact.

Employees will undergo daily health screenings and receive appropriate training on company protocols and procedures. Employees are required to wear masks, regularly wash their hands and stay home if sick.

Campgrounds & Parks Facilities

Please follow all posted guidelines while using the park and the park facilities.

  • All of our campgrounds operate under the safety protocols of BC Parks.
  • All shared facilities (wash-houses, outhouses, etc.) and high touchpoint areas (garbage cans, handpumps, etc.) are frequently cleaned and disinfected.
  • Please follow the guidelines below to keep our parks open this summer.

For questions regarding reservations, policies, and more: visit bcparks.ca for their camping FAQ.

School’s out – And summer has begun!

The Boathouse is now open 7 days a week all summer from 9am-6pm. If the Boathouse is closed, boat rentals are handled through the Front Desk, so if there’s inclement weather, check in there before you head up to the lake.

Our interpretive programs are now 7 days a week ALL SUMMER! Come out to learn some awesome things about the flora and fauna in the park, and don’t miss our Canada Day festivities on July 1st at Lightning Lake Day Use! Weekly schedules can be found here.

Our Summer hours of operations have been updated. The Bistro is open daily to grab your morning cup of Marley coffee, or your afternoon ice cream or milkshake.

Camping information can be found on our Camping page – with reservations handled through DiscoverCamping. We do have a number of first come, first serve sites. For camping questions, call our Visitor Centre at 604-668-5953.

The road to the alpine meadows is also open.  Please remember to stay on the trail even if it is snow covered. If you veer around the snow, this promotes trail braiding, which negatively impacts the sub-alpine meadows!

Summer is on and we are ready for you! See you soon on your summer adventures!
