We just received a fresh dump of snow, and now have over 30cm’s up top (see picture above). We are gearing up and excited for our best season ever, and can’t wait to see you on the hill!

  • Highway 3 has been repaved and had extensive improvements. It will be a smooth and safe drive out for all of our guests.
  • The Gibson’s Pass Road has now been paved from Highway 3 all the way up to the ski hill.
  • Our Alpine T-Bar has been repaired and is back in operation.
  • We have also done repairs on our Alpine slope and water system.
  • Lobby upgrades in the works!

Blackwall Bash Nordic Race

The Blackwall Bash is a challenging race to the top of Manning Park’s Blackwall Nordic trail. Skate or classic ski either option: 8 km (1500 ft. elevation gain) to Cascade Lookout; or 16 km (2500 ft. elevation gain) to the Alpine at Blackwall Peak. Race participants send up a bag with warm clothes to be waiting for them at the finish line. Take the challenge!

Cascade Cup Loppet

Sign up for the Manning Park’s Cascade Cup Loppet, a cross country ski event taking place 10 am – 1:30 pm at Lightning Lake in Manning Park Resort. Choose the 2, 4, 15 or 30 km race with skate & classic categories. Race fees include daily trail pass and post-race lunch.

Afterward, lunch and the awards ceremony begin at 2 pm in the Alpine Room.

Park at the Lightning Lake race site or at Manning Park Resort Lodge. From the Lodge, take the shuttle bus up to the lake at 8:30am or 9:30 am.

Cost: $15-55. (Click for categories)

Please note that proof of vaccination is required for the lunch and awards in the Alpine Room.

Accommodation is available! For the 2022 Cascade Cup, (and our other event, the Blackwall Bash) Manning Park Resort has set aside a variety of accommodation options for racers.

To take advantage of this option, book early! Accommodation for the Cascade Cup needs to be booked by January 4, 2022. To book, just phone the Manning Park Resort front desk at 604-668-5922 and let them know you are taking part in the race and would like to take advantage of the block of held accommodation.

4th Annual Blackwall Bash Race Results

Well done in your quest to conquer the fourth annual Blackwall Bash!  We definitely could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the event!  A big shout out to you – and the volunteers, staff and sponsors (Bula, Salomon, Fat Dog 150/Brigade Race) that helped make the magic happen!
