We are so excited to welcome everyone back to Manning Park Resort for the upcoming winter season. Please review the following page for information and details on what to expect for Nordic and Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snowshoeing.

What's New

Winter product launch on October 6: Alpine, Nordic, and stay-and-play products will be available for purchase online as of October 6, 10 am. Book early and save. Season passes are currently on sale. Purchase them before the rates go up

Gibson pass road repaved: Gibson pass road has been repaved from Highway 3 all the way to the ski hill. Highway 3 is repaving in progress from Hope to Manning Park.

Ski hill opening date: Planned opening dates for Alpine and Nordic are December 10 (weather dependent). Weekday operations start December 12. See the operational calendar for further details. All operational dates are weather dependent.

Alpine Area hours: Chairlifts are open from 9 am to 3:30 pm. AGS building is open 30 minutes before and after the chairlifts are running.

Alpine Parking Area: Gate closes at 4 pm. No parking at the ski hill for snowshoers, you must park at Strawberry Flats and either walk on the trail to the hill or use the free Shuttle Bus.

Skyview full-service RV campground: Skyview is now open year-round. Water, sewer and up to 50-amp power are available in a variety of pull-through and back-in sites for all campers. Winter camping will begin on October 10.

The trail to Access Poland Lake: There will be a new trail this year to access Poland Lake – more details coming soon. Parking is available at strawberry flats.

T-Bar Update: Reopened for this winter season. 

Indy Pass: We have partnered with Indy Pass for the second year in a row to offer another way to enjoy Manning Park. Our Nordic operation is now also a part of the Indy Pass network of resorts.

Getting Your Tickets, Rentals, and Lessons

Tickets, rentals, & lessons are on sale to the public for the entire 2022/2023 winter season.

Alpine lift-tickets, rentals, and lessons are now on sale for the rest of the season!

Priority purchasing of lift tickets, and rentals for accommodation holders ended on December 31st, 2020.

If there are still tickets available, tickets will be available to purchase online until 8am the day of.

Alpine Lift Tickets

When you arrive at the ski area, tickets can be picked up any of the outdoor ticket office windows. Your e-mail confirmation notice and a piece of ID is required for pick-up.

Nordic Trail Tickets

When you arrive at the Nordic Center, tickets can be picked up at any of the outdoor ticket office windows. Your e-mail confirmation notice and a piece of ID is required for pick-up.

General Practices

Guests are not required to show proof of vaccination to ski, snowboard, or snowshoe at Manning Park Resort.

 

Facial coverings are no longer required, although we support our guests and staff who may still wish to wear a mask.

Facial coverings are no longer required in lift lines and while riding chairlifts.

Facial coverings are no longer required while in ticket lines & at the ticket window.

Alpine lift tickets, Nordic trail tickets, rentals, and lessons will be available for advance purchase via our online booking platform. 

*Season Pass Holders (including Indy Pass-holders) are not required to reserve in advance. Use your pass ‘as normal.

All high-touch surfaces will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. Hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the Alpine area. 

Facial Coverings

Facial coverings are no longer required in indoor areas, in lift lines, and when loading and riding chairlifts.

Facial coverings are not required during the physical acts of skiing and snowboarding.

If they completely cover your mouth and nose, yes! 

No, not by local and Public Health guidelines. We are asking that children aged 5 and older wear facial coverings. 

The Chairlifts

Chairs will be loaded to full capacity this season.

Snow School

Group lessons are back! We are encouraging booking all lessons in advance to secure your spot.

The following group capacities apply to provide a safe lesson, as well as the most quality programming due to our lower than industry average group lesson ratios:

For lessons ages 7+: Max of 6 participants per instructor

For lessons ages 4-6: Max of 3 people per instructor

 

Food and Beverage

Our Daylodge will be open, and no vaccinations are required to access any area of the building.

Alpine Guest Services & The Nordic Centre

Guests are welcome to bring their own food into the downstairs area of the Day lodge. 

The warming huts located along the Nordic trails will be open for you to enjoy your lunch and take a break.

Facial coverings are no longer required inside these buildings. All equipment will be fully sanitized between each guest’s use.

A combination of fogging, spraying, and hand-wiping disinfecting solutions will be used to sanitize all rental equipment.

It is recommended. You can purchase rentals online through our booking platform when it becomes available.

Alpine: Rentals can be picked up at the rental shop in the Alpine Guest Services Building.

Nordic: Rentals can be picked up at the Nordic Centre, behind the main Lodge.

RV Camping at the Hill

RV Camping is no longer available at the Alpine Ski Area.Â
