Manning Park is a fond memory of my childhood. Every year we came to Lightning Lake camping, we would do an annual ski trip at the lodge, and even come up for a day trip. Manning sparked my loved for the outdoors at a young age and I continue to visit the park every year now with my husband with more adventures and memories skiing, hiking, and camping. It’s a magical place from the aqua blue water of lighting lake, the tall trees in the park, the site of a deer in the alpine meadows, and the occasional bear sighting. It’s a place close to our hearts forever.
